With the Australian Championships and the Australian 3-Days combined into a single carnival over Easter, three state or club team competitions were decided. The final results of these competitions were determined as follows:

Orienteering Australia Shield – based on the Australian Long Distance Championships

  1. New South Wales – 81 points
  2. Tasmania – 69 points
  3. Australian Capital Territory – 43 points
  4. Victoria – 42 points
  5. South Australia – 16 points
  6. Queensland – 12 points
  7. Western Australia – 7 points

Xanthorrhoea Trophy – based on the Australian Relay Championships

  1. Australian Capital Territory – 35 points
  2. New South Wales – 34 points
  3. Tasmania – 25 points
  4. Victoria – 12 points
  5. South Australia – 9 points
  6. Queensland – 2 points
  7. Western Australia – 1 point

Champion Club Trophy – based on the overall results of the 3-Day competition. Top 10.

  1. Australopers (TAS) – 137 points
  2. Red Roos (ACT) – 48 points
  3. Newcastle (NSW) – 47 points
  4. Esk Valley (TAS) – 39 points
  5. Big Foot (NSW) – 29 points
  6. Bennelong Northside (NSW) – 27 points
  7. Bushflyers (ACT) tied with Melbourne Forest Racers (VIC) – 24 points
  8. Yarra Valley (VIC) – 23 points
  9. Ugly Gully (QLD) – 21 points.
