Orienteering Tasmania is pleased to advise that accommodation and camping will be available for competitors of the Australian Orienteering Championships at the Valley Campus of Scotch Oakburn College. The Valley Campus is located in the Fingal Valley approximately halfway between Avoca and Fingal.
The campus will offer affordable budget bunk accommodation and camping sites. The campus has toilet and shower amenities, a communal kitchen and a living area as well as some smaller break out areas and swimming options in a lake or river.
Bunk rooms have either 2, 3 or 4 bunks with only a mattress supplied. No bedding is supplied. Some bunk rooms join two rooms of two and would be suitable for a family of four.
Camping sites will be available on the grassy oval or by the picturesque South Esk River.
Bunk rooms or campsites will be available to book through Eventor when entries open later in 2025. If you have queries prior to entries opening please direct them to camping@tasorienteering.asn.au
The location of the Valley Campus can be see on the Event Location Map
